Production Description

 ASTM A403WP 316L 2”x11/2” SCH40S Concentric Reducer is used to join pipe sections or tube sections on the same axis. It is cone-shaped, and is used when there is a shift in diameter between pipes. A pipe reducer is available in various specifications, such as a single diameter change and also in a multiple diameter change. The pipes cannot appreciate because of what the external arrangement of the pipe reducer seems but the flow of the pipe is changed by the internal width conical transition arrangement. It can be axially shifted and externally reconfigured to offer more efficient reducer connection. Concentric reducers facilitate the delivery of mud and abrasive fluids and are suitable for corrosive operations and where different ratings and wear protection are required between flanges.

Production Material

 ASTM A403WP 316L 2”x11/2” SCH40S Concentric Reducer is used to produce some of the best fittings in the oil and gas industry. Stainless Steel 316 Pipe Fittings are produced with a chemical composition of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum with other constituting alloys. The versatile SS 316 Fittings are piping components that help in influencing the characteristics of the flow in the system. These fittings help in connecting piping grades of efficiently of different specifications. The SS 316 Pipe Fittings have good resistance to corrosive and reducing media. These fittings can work well in applications where pitting and crevice corrosion reduce different equipment. The robust 316 Stainless Steel Fittings have a minimum tensile strength of 515mpa with a minimum yield strength of 205mpa. These fittings can be elongated by 40% and have a hardness of Brinell 217max. The Stainless Steel 316 Pipe Fittings / ASTM A403 WP316 bolsters excellent welding characteristics. The fittings don’t require any post-weld annealing if they are thin sections. The SS316 Elbow is seen in pressurized applications as they change the direction of the flow in the system. The direction of the system can be altered by different angles like the 316 Stainless Steel 90 Degree Elbow is utilized to change the direction of the flow by 90 degrees.

Different Between A403 WP 316 & A403 WP304L
ASTM A403 WP316 Fittings are a grade of pipe fittings that are made up of a high oxidation resistant material. This material is also corrosion resistive, pitting resistive and can withstand strong chemicals and acids.
ASTM A403 WP304L Fittings are pipe fittings made for austenitic stainless steel applications with forged material. These are commonly used for pressure piping that could withstand high pressure stress condition.
