What is a pipe union
A pipe unino is a commonly used pipe connector that can be easily instaled and disassembled. It mainly consists of three parts: nut, cloud head, and flat connection. And the pipe union is generally used for there are front or back ends of valves, water meters, and other equipment in the pipeline, which is convenient for the disassembly and maintenance of this equipment.
Types Of pipe union
Usually there are two kinds ,socket welding and threaded. Socket welding is to insert a steel pipe into a socket for welding. Therefore, it is called “socket “Swivel joint”; the threaded connection is to screw the steel pipe into the screw hole for connection. Therefore, it is called “threaded union”.

Advantages And Disadvantages
Pipe unions are leak-proof, for starters. This is of the utmost importance whenever piping is concerned. The last thing you want is for your pipes to leak behind the scenes, playing havoc without you even being able to see that there is an issue.Pipe unions are also great for monitoring and regulating devices. Perhaps the most important aspect of pipe unions is hat they are versatile enough to join different sizes. They are versatile enough that they be installed even if the pipes are different sizes. Great for a quick connection that doesn’t require refitting.
But on the other side, from the practical application point of view, the union is used on low-pressure occasions, , which means they are generally used in public engineering occasions less than 10kg.
