Threaded Elbow: A fitting used to change the direction of a pipe. The radius of curvature of all elbows is R≤3D, and the most widely used are long-radius elbows with R=1.5D and short-radius elbows with R=1D. Commonly used angles are 90°, 45°, 30° and 180°. Sometimes there are also a small amount of different-diameter elbows (that is, to realize the connection with the different-diameter pipes while changing the direction of the pipes), and the threaded elbows are produced in accordance with GB/T 14383 and ASME 16.11 production standards.
