A182 Threaded Flange

Threaded flange is a non-welded flange that is made by processing the inner hole of the flange into pipe threads and matching with the threaded pipe to achieve connection. The connection method is to match the inner hole of the flange with the thread on the pipe, and then rotate and connect them together.

A182 threaded flange is a non-welded flange that is made by processing the inner hole of the flange into pipe threads and matching with the threaded pipe to achieve connection. The connection method is to match the inner hole of the flange with the thread on the pipe, and then rotate and connect them together.
The thread design of A182 threaded flange follows strict standard specifications. Its thread form is usually a sealed pipe thread, such as NPT. When NPT is connected, the thread pair itself has a certain sealing ability. The dimensional accuracy of the thread is high, including parameters such as pitch, tooth angle, major diameter and minor diameter of the thread, which need to be strictly controlled to ensure reliable connection and sealing performance between the flange and the matching pipe fittings or equipment.
A182 is a standard of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), which covers the specifications of a variety of high-temperature forged or rolled alloy steel pipe fittings, flanges and valves. A182 threaded flanges are widely used in industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, and electric power.

Application areas

Hydraulic system: such as various hydraulic control systems, hydraulic engineering pipeline connections, etc.
Petrochemical: In the chemical production process, pressure vessels, various pipelines and valves need to be tightly connected. Threaded flanges are widely used because of their good tightness and good sealing.
Shipbuilding industry: The ship environment is harsh. Due to the large simultaneous forces, it is necessary to choose a connection method that can be stably connected and sealed. Threaded flanges are particularly important.
Municipal construction: Drainage pipes and other facilities on streets have high requirements for safety and maintainability. The threaded flanges have good tightness, good sound insulation, and easy installation, which can meet this demand.
Air conditioning and refrigeration: The threaded flange connection method can reduce the vibration and noise between indoor and outdoor units and increase the service life of air conditioning or refrigeration equipment.
