A105 Class 150 Carbon steel blind flange is a blind plate made of carbon steel material, which is connected to the flange in the pipeline system to prevent the passage and leakage of fluids, gases and other media. Carbon steel blind flange is mainly made of carbon steel, which has high strength and rigidity, can withstand greater pressure and load, and has relatively low cost. It is one of the commonly used flange materials.

As the majority of flange connections allow for the passing through of air or fluid via an interior opening, blinds give the ends of pipe connections a well formed termination point or rerouting of the media in question towards another portion of the pipe assembly. Opt for a blind flange in these cases, as well as in instances when a pipe line requires a future modification such as the installation of a valve or fitting to reroute flow. A105 Class 150 Carbon steel blind flanges are widely used in pipeline systems in the petroleum, chemical, natural gas, pharmaceutical, food and other industries to block the end of the pipeline or perform maintenance.

Raised Face (RF) Blind flange

The sealing surface of the raised face blind flange is a protruding smooth plane. During installation, sealing is achieved by placing a sealing gasket on the sealing surface.

Molded Face (MFM) Blind flange

The sealing surface of the molded face blind flange consists of a concave surface and a convex surface. During installation, the convex surface is matched with the concave surface, and a sealing gasket is placed in the middle. The sealing performance of this structure is better than that of the raised face, and it is suitable for medium and high pressure pipeline systems.

Tongue and Groove Face (TG) Blind flange

The sealing surface of the tongue and groove blind flange consists of a tongue surface and a groove surface. The sealing gasket is placed in the groove, and the tongue surface and the groove surface are tightly matched. This sealing surface form has very good sealing performance and is suitable for pipeline systems with high pressure, highly toxic, flammable, explosive and other media.
