3000# MSS SP-97 FNPT Galvanized Threadolet
Weldolet, an economical butt-weld branch connection, is designed to minimize stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement. manufactured to meet your specific reinforcement requirements.
Weldolets are the most popular type of branch fittings, belong to the buttweld fittings family, and are available in a wide range of dimensions. A Weldolet has beveled ends at both ends and is, therefore, welded onto the run pipe on one side and onto the branch pipe on the other side. Weldolets are used to create a 90-degrees (reinforced) pipe branch. The shape of the Weldolet ensures little stress concentration on the branched pipe, providing an integral reinforcement. On the branch pipe side, Weldolets may have the same schedule of the run pipe or a higher schedule.

Product features
- Threadolet does not require welding, it can be installed through the thread.
- It typically is in the size range of 1/2″ to 2” and is welded over a hole either drilled or burned in the pipe.
- Threadolet considered to a threaded fitting, and it is manufactured in 3000 and 6000 classes.
Thredolet VS Weldolet
Threadolet has the same basic design as a weldolet. However the main difference is the fitting has a female threaded connection to link to the branch connection. This makes a 90° branch and comes in full size or reducing for a straight piece of pipe
Applications
- phosphoric and acetic acids
- Pulp and paper processing
- Components in gas scrubbing plants
- Seawater cooling equipment
- Oil refinery components
